Parthus Bluestream™ Platform To Shine At Bluetooth Congress

most advanced industry leading Bluetooth IP solution - BlueStream - along
with numerous examples of customer certified silicon at the Bluetooth
Congress in Amsterdam this week (11-14 June, 2002).

Parthus' pioneering BlueStream™ platform is widely acknowledged to
deliver the highest levels of Bluetooth wireless functionality and
performance to electronic device developers and manufacturers, offering
reduced time to certification, rapid time to market and exceptionally low
cost of deployment across a broad range of consumer and business
applications. As a market ready solution, the BlueStream™ platform is
fully compliant with all mandatory and optional features required in
Bluetooth specification version 1.1 and surpasses many industry norms in
terms of the immensely rich feature set and complete functionality which
the platform provides. In addition, the availability of an extensive range
of profiles with Parthus BlueStream serves to further accelerate a
products time to market offering our customers optimum product flexibility

The Parthus demonstration will encompass all aspects of Parthus' Core
BlueStream™ IP platform to include interoperability with standard products

and profiles for niche markets including headsets, cordless telephones,

function shown will outline routes for rapid entry into niche market

Additionally, throughout the four-day event Parthus will showcase
numerous examples of customer certified silicon, all which have
incorporated BlueStream™ IP. Many Parthus customers are at an advanced
stage of development and are moving rapidly towards mass production.
Exploiting the advanced nature of the BlueStream™ platform and its
extensive experience in developing and deploying short range wireless
technologies, Parthus will also formally launch its comprehensive and user
friendly BlueStream™ solution in a single compact disc format at the
Amsterdam event.

applications and 802.11b/a/g multi-protocol baseband core. In addition to
supporting all current 802.11 standards, In8Stream™ is architected for
future generation 802.11 standards. Parthus plans to support the IEEE
802.11 i/e/h standards (Security, quality of service and power management)

802.11 is a family of specifications for wireless local area networks
(WLANs) developed by a working group of the Institute of Electrical and

standard, 802.11g (which will be added late this year), offers wireless
transmission in the 2.4 GHz ISM band at data rates up to 54 megabits per
