CEVA, Inc. Will Receive $2.5 Million From U-Blox AG
SAN JOSE, Calif., July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CEVA, Inc. [(NASDAQ: CEVA); (LSE: CVA)], a leading licensor of silicon intellectual property (SIP) DSP cores and platform solutions for mobile handsets, consumer electronics and storage applications, today announced that it will receive $2.5 million from u-blox AG pursuant to an agreement between the parties to resolve a license dispute post a royalty audit after a preliminary court hearing conducted by the Court of Commerce of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, on July 10, 2008. CEVA will receive the $2.5 million for the claimed underreporting, underpayment and/or unauthorized third party use of the technology rights licensed by CEVA to u-blox.
