About the Business Unit:
The Vision Business Unit (VBU) is a unique organization in Ceva combining a dynamic startup working environment with a stable and well-positioned IP company. The VBU VLSI and Infrastructure department develops specialized AI processors, DSPs and HW accelerators for the edge AI devices in markets such as Laptops, Smartphones, Automotive, Drones, Surveillance, and more. The team works on cutting-edge technologies and with industry-leading global customers.
About the Role:
The candidate will contribute to the verification of advanced AI processors, DSPs and HW accelerators. The candidate will take ownership and responsibility on developing and executing verification strategy, u-Arch, test plans, functional and code coverage, debugging and on full process of converging RTL blocks to a production ready level in a very thorough sign-off process.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Verification test-benches and different level of verification environments. Take full ownership and responsibility on writing and executing test plans and coverage plans. Debug RTL and simulation issues in collaboration with different SW and HW teams. Participate in Architecture and code reviews, and contribute to verification methodology improvement
Requirements
- BSc Student in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 2 full semesters before graduation.
- Knowledge in digital logic systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours a week.
Advantages:
- Knowledge in object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge in Verilog, System Verilog UVM or VHDL.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.).
- Exposure to IP/ASIC/FPGA design and verification flow.
