The AI Division is a unique and dedicated group within Ceva, driving innovation in Machine Learning and Generative AI architectures for edge devices and cloud inference. Our R&D domains span Neural Network Processors (NPU), Vision DSPs, and advanced AI algorithms for applications across smartphones, tablets, automotive, surveillance cameras and many more edge AI systems. About the Role:
In this role, as Embedded Software Team Leader, you will lead a software team taking major part in developing Ceva's AI framework. This framework is at the heart of the Ceva AI software offering, with deep impact on multiple hardware and software teams’ ability to execute state of the art LLM, Generative AI and Neural Networks with extraordinary performance. You will lead a team of creative and result oriented engineers that will invent, design, and implement software that enables fast execution of most challenging neural networks on Ceva NPUs, and allow smooth connectivity between the NPU and Host CPU software.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, recruit, and manage the Embedded Software engineering team, ensuring high performance and productivity. Oversee the design, development, and implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Conduct performance reviews and support professional development of team members. Collaborate globally with architects, HW teams, NPU teams, and other developer teams
Requirements
- B.Sc in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience as Software Team Leader.
- At least 7 years of hands-on C++ software engineering in embedded/firmware domains.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong English proficiency with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
