Ceva is looking for an experienced and highly FAE to join our China Sales team.

About the role: 

As part of Ceva’s sales team for China, you will be based in our Shanghai Office and will be part of the China FAEs team with the responsibility for supporting customers and tracking customer information (project/technical).

Responsibilities

The FAE will have the following Key responsibilities: 

• Take an active role in the sales process by managing all the technical issues at assigned customers. 

• Champion the customer needs and work with BU and product marketing team to develop competitive technical solutions

• Work with the customer’s R&D team to get Ceva’s products designed in

• Support existing customers with in depth design assistance at a “post sale” stage

• Document these design activities using SFDC (salesforce.com)

• Establish rapport with the customer and become the expert for all the technical inquiries. 

• Be aware of the size and nature of the business at the assigned account and assist in developing the account penetration strategy.

• Understand the competitive landscape and continuously work on differentiating Ceva’s solutions. 

• Manage multiple projects and follow up on various tasks to ensure timely support and execution.

• Ensure clear and regular external internal reporting and communication

• Influence future Ceva products by providing customer feedback back to the hardware and software development groups at headquarters.


Key objectives: 

• Be capable of understanding complex code written by a team of highly specialized engineers in a small amount of time. 

• Explaining difficult concepts to customers. 

• Train customers on how to use Ceva products programmatically. 

• Diagnosing and debugging intricate and complex problems that customers are experiencing. 

• Learning new products quickly and transferring the information onto others.

• Analyzing and articulating problems that cannot be solved using traditional trouble shooting information. In this instance, the application engineer will isolate the issue, identify the problem and interact directly with the engineer responsible to find a solution.

 

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Minimum 3 years experience in processor support or development

• The candidate should have a hardware background, be familiar with RTL design, EDA synthesis, place and route, EDA simulation, verification, DSP processor, and AI NPU integration.

• Previous Experience in DSP will be a plus

• Knowledge of some communication standards (e.g. LTE, WiMax, DTV demodulators, OFDM, etc.) or Multimedia (e.g. audio, voice, image signal processing, etc.), or embedded solution will be an advantage

• Knowledge of audio/vision will be an advantage

• Knowledge of AI will be an advantage

• Knowledge of embedded processor designs will be an advantage

• Logical thinking and logical speaking skill
